Hi, I’m Yvette.
My mission is to inspire and empower my clients in their physical transformation and spiritual journey. My fitness philosophy is: do your best, let go of results, and have fun￼!
I believe that Yoga is a path of self discovery, and I encourage my students to work to their potential and find new possibilities of strength, flexibility, ￼and balance￼.
I’m a certified yoga instructor based in New York City and have been teaching for 10 years at various locations such as Crunch Fitness, Pure Yoga, and corporations such as the NBA. I also teach 1-1 classes at individuals’ homes.
I’ve taught for Self Magazine’s Workout in Central Park 3 years in a row, and contributed to blogs such as Mind Body Green, Red Tricycle. I offer meditations and podcasts on iTunes and Spotify.
I support organizations that support physical and emotional well-being and that teach communities how to create possibilities for inner peace.￼
Welcome to “Yoga Express” - where each class is designed for you and your busy day. This dynamic practice will help you to improve flexibility, build strength, cultivate balance, and leave you feeling refreshed... in 30 mins or less. Each class will have a different focus so you can take one class a day or string two or more classes together if you want a total body experience.
This practice is for everyone from beginners to more seasoned yogis. And I encourage you - to dial up or dial down the intensity to a practice that meets you at your level. Practice with me if you’re looking to make yoga to accessible and efficient.
All you need is a mat. 2 blocks and a strap or towel are optional but highly encouraged.
