Hi. I’m Marita. I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I’ve been teaching Pilates in Los Angeles since 2000. I was drawn to Pilates because it seemed efficient and fun. I teach a fusion of East and West Coast Pilates. I’d say East coast pilates is more intense, and the west coast is more fluid and laid back. I’m a member of the Pilates Method Alliance. The five principles of Pilates are centering, concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow. I like to incorporate all of those things into my workouts and add in some dance flavor. We’re in this together. My hope for clients is that they feel energized, stronger, more flexible, and centered. Let’s do this!
